Everyone needs a Shirley……

Shirley is one of the most genuine, caring people I know. She exudes positivity & joy of life and is so suited to her role as a life coach. She has come through so many personal challenges in her own life & always sees the positive no matter what is put in her way. I was at a very low point when Shirley told me she had trained as a life coach & she has been so influential in getting me back on track & giving me the tools, to push myself forward & escape from the negativity trap. Shirley has so much empathy, endless patience & really puts you at ease. I cannot thank her enough for her kindness & wisdom & would have no hesitation in recommending her. Give it a try you owe it to yourself.

I recently joined one of Shirley’s ‘Feel Better About Yourself’ group coaching courses looking for a positive way to get certain areas of my lifestlye back on track. Shirley has a natural talent of making you feel completely at ease in an environment that is safe and secure, where you are able to offload any worries or concerns with the comfort of total confidentiality. Working with Shirley and a group of other like minded women seeking similar outcomes was a fantastic experience. There was absolutely no judgement or criticism, just support, encouragement and guidance enabling me to get the most out of the coaching session. I left each session feeling refreshed, revitalised and more confident in addressing my concerns and insecurities and able to make more positive choices and leading to better confidence and self esteem. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Shirley as a lifecoach if you are unsure where to turn when dealing with some of the stumbling blocks we all come across in our lives. She’s magic!!

I am writing to thank you for today’s Wellbeing session on Teams. I found it very useful and the presentation was very good, I watched it with other members of my team. After the presentation we all had a discussion regarding what we would like to improve in our own lives and how we are going to do it so that we keep each other accountable as well as provide support if needed. Your journey and testament resonated with a lot of us who feel like we are constantly juggling the daily pressures our job demands together with our life commitments. Also tips you provided during your presentation like journaling, yoga, mindfulness and daily routines seemed doable and achievable.

Shirley is a great inspirational coach and I can personally vouch for this. When Shirley walks into a room it’s like somebody turned the light switch on. She radiates happiness and energy and helps others define this in themselves. I asked Shirley for help as I wanted to stop drinking. I knew Shirley had achieved this 2 1/2 years earlier and I had witnessed the difference in her. After a one hour sitting and talking to Shirley on a one-to-one, I knew I could do this with her help. I wouldn’t say that I was an alcoholic but I would say the alcohol was playing too large a part in my life. Still early days for me (Day 47) but I’ve got this. I know that Shirley is only a message away and is my guardian angel on my alcohol free journey. Why didn’t I talk to Shirley earlier???

Shirley is a genuine, caring compassionate lady who has absolutely found her vocation in life .Shirley has taken me on a fantastic journey of self discovery and has helped me get firmly back in the driving seat again. I honestly can’t believe how much my anxiety has disappeared and I’m feeling happier, confident and full of hope. For the first time in a long time I’m now believing that the world is my oyster and there’s so much more to life when we just believe in ourselves. Thank you so much Shirley you are truly one amazing life coach.

I met Shirley through the ‘Pure Coaching Academy’ and from the first meeting it was apparent she is an amazing, caring and friendly lady who is an excellent life coach. I experienced her expertise, through her group coaching where she brings a wealth of experience and wise words, to her coaching sessions. I would definitely recommend signing up with Shirley as she will change your mindset and you will have fun in the process.

Shirley is an angel. She viewed my posts. She made comments. She saw something was not right. She set up a zoom meeting in lockdown. I didn’t turn up. She badgered me to turn up. I had one chat across thirty years. I really didn’t know this amazing lady at all. Her whole life is about protecting the public. Her whole life is about protecting the most vulnerable and she was brilliant at it. I wonder how many women’s lives Shirley has literally saved. How many children have been saved from domestic abuse because of her persistence. Those visits.  Those calls. Never giving up. After one chat I knew I had to reboot. I have and have never been happier. She is an inspiration. She is a guide. Thank you Shirley.

I was lucky enough to find Shirley when I was struggling with my anxiety, depression and the impact it was having on me and my ability to manage working relationships. Shirley is a really good listener and had a great ability to pull out the aspects that are having  a significant impact on you and tease out from you how you can and should be managing your own situation. She has enabled me to take back control of my emotions and life.
Talking to Shirley is like talking to a wise friend who gives you the tools to better yourself and walks you through how to use those tools, maintain them through the process. Shirley doesn’t just stick a plaster on the problem she helps provide the glue to a permanent solution.I have moved on so much with her support, changing jobs and being a calmer and more controlled person in both my personal and professional life.

Shirley is a fantastic life coach, her sense of humour and calm demeanour gained my trust right from the start. I was feeling that my outlook on life wasn’t as positive as last year and I couldn’t put my finger on why. My first session with the group ‘Feel better about yourself’ immediately lifted my spirits. Life coaching has come about just at the right time. The group were warm, welcoming and made me feel more positive about myself and my goals in life. Shirley makes you ‘sense check’ in your everyday life, she had encouraged me to take small steps and is figuring out what makes me tick to bring back my self belief. After a couple os sessions with Shirley things became clearer. I set myself achievable goals and I really look forward to achieving them. I now feel back on track and am thankful to Shirley and the group.

After 28 years in a stressful career I retired and embarked on a new business. This was completely different to anything I had ever done before. I participated in one of Shirley’s group coaching courses and had 1-2-1 sessions with her. Shirley helped me find clarity, to focus on what I really wanted and gave me the confidence to go for my goals. I am lighter in mind and body than I have been for years. Thank you Shirley for giving me the push I needed to believe in myself and pursue my dream.

Twelve weeks ago I decided to make a change in my life, one I had to tried to change numerous times, but had dramatically failed. I wanted to give up the booze! Why? Because I felt my relationship with alcohol wasn’t healthy for many reasons but mainly that I used it as an emotional crutch. Previously I had tried different techniques unsuccessfully. I needed support, I needed to be accountable and I needed someone who understood what it was like to walk this path. To cut a long story short I found Shirley, we clicked straight away and I knew this time it would be different, no judgement, just support and help. This was the best decision I had made regarding alcohol and I know I couldn’t have come this far without her. Three months AF (alcohol free) and I have survived the Christmas season!! I’d be lying if I said it was easy but I’m NOT lying when I say it has been tough but overall rewarding. The pros outweigh the cons and I’m looking forward to where my journey is going to take me. As one door opens and another closes I’m so glad to have Shirley sharing this journey with me.
